Boff has been tattooing for seven years and has never used a machine, favouring a simple tool made from a short stick, cotton and stainless steel needles.
This method of tattooing is often called stick & poke or hand-poking, but Boff feels that “machine-free tattooing” best describes the technique.
After two years of working at Divine Canvas Boff felt it was time for a change and rather than settle for opening his own static tattoo studio Boff has decided to take his work on the road and to become an itinerant or journeyman artist. He is currently travelling the UK and Europe peddling his work at tattoo conventions and during short guest-spots in accommodating studios.
For a list of conventions/guest spots please see the Calendar page. If you are a studio owner or convention organiser you can message Boff here with any enquires about securing his services.
